May the gods have mercy
Dear gods of cooking, forgive me for this transgression I have wrought.
Last night, I created the truly unholy.
It was a green thai curry that used durian as the base and thousand year eggs as the 'meat'...
I wrought a great evil by actually making this combination rather tasty.

In addition to those items, I used the green Mae Ploy curry paste, a 1" chunk of ginger, an entire bulb of garlic, a couple of chilis, some chili oil, a bit of coconut milk, and kept adding water to thin it.
Sorry it's not a real recipe. I kind of went by taste until it worked out.

He recommends if you wanted to make the initial ingredients even more horrible add 'balut'.
Or if you wanted to TOTALLY SCREW IT UP just add blue cheese.

I have never heard of a thousand year egg, however. What is it?
