Sorry, not humorous. It's a nice pictorial breakdown of where taxes go, since right whingers are always going on about how much is spent on healthcare and such.
Gee. Military is more than the entire rest of the budget combined, and THAT'S if you claim Homeland Defense (30 BILLION DOLLARS) isn't really a part of the military. It's a police state thing. Totally different!

Date: 2006-10-19 10:47 am (UTC)For each of the Army, Navy and Airforece; Purchase of fuel is billed both in Procurement *and* Operations, and Admin is billed in both Operations *and* Personel, building maintenece is billed both in the Maintence budget *and* Operations. The 'Operations' Budget appears to contain a huge amount of double billing.
