Electric Ride-ums
Jun. 3rd, 2006 03:23 pmYou remember the good old days when kids rode bigwheels and tricycles? Back when those battery-operated rideables were expensive and had a battery life of fifteen minutes?
Wasn't life a lot nicer back then? Children were more physically fit, and the air wasn't filled with the sound of dental drills.
If manufacturers are going to make those pieces of crap, couldn't they at least not make them sound like dental drills?
I don't blame the kids. I blame the companies and the lousy parents who buy them. Get em a bike instead. It's cheaper, will last longer, and they might not, ya'know, die from diabetes complications or get glacoma by the time they're twenty.
