Pencil Sharpeners
May. 13th, 2005 12:21 pmWere is the best place to buy those little metal pencil sharpeners? I animate so I burn through a lot of pencils but almost as fast, I burn through pencil sharpeners. At the art supply store, even a basic metal pencil sharpener is like a dollar, yet I know I've seen people with packages of like 6. Where do you buy em like that?
I don't want the 2-hole type. I'm only using regular width pencils. I like them because they fit in my pocket and are easy to tote around. I don't really want an electric because I go just about everywhere by bicycle so weight is important. Not to mention I go to the beach fairly often and salt water is not friendly to electrics. Not to mention, there's nothing more frustrating than a flat battery.
So. Anyone know where I can buy em in bulk reasonably cheap?

Date: 2005-05-13 09:51 pm (UTC)They likely cost more, but it sounds like they could save you money in the long run. Those things are damn-near indestructable. Well, the old ones, anway. Can't go wrong with steel.
Or there's allways mechanical pencils?
