How to make a bad pilot.

Or more generally: How to make a bad project. It's interesting and worth reading despite the vulgarity of the wording. I can happily say I'm guilty of only two or three of these. Definetely the audio problems but with better hardware and classes, I'm working on that. Um. Also the 'taking a long time' (Free as a Bird) the attachment to projects (BEST PROJECT EVAH!), contempt for something else/the viewing audience (had a bout of that last night, which, thankfully, I didn't post about) etc.

Thankfully, I think I was aware of all of my shortcomings before reading this, but I think I'm gonna bookmark this article anyhow. It's short and succinct and a good reminder. :)

Rule the world? I don't want to rule the world. I just want a tenured position and full funding for all of my *ahem* research. Well, and perhaps a small stipend and a travel budget. That's all.

Rule the world. Good grief. Imagine how much hassle it would be to find a hire a gardener to keep it all nicely pruned.

I didn't say run the world, I said rule the world... meaning the world looks to me for its guidance! ME! Ah hah hah! The poor fools!
