Do you feel like slitting your wrists? If not, would you like to?
if so... May I recommend the film Special(rx)... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0479162/
Stacey found this on Netflix instant download and I decided to watch it. It's about Les... A guy with a crap job and a miserable life who volunteers to take a new anti-depressant...
For added fun, the last movie I borrowed from the library was Neverwas http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418004/
... Both films are well made and in a way a refreshing escape from escapism but I think they also hit me in somewhat tender spots. I often feel that what separates me from the crazy homeless person eating from garbage cans is a razor thin sliver of luck and nothing more and one day, that luck will run out.
I can't exactly recommend either of these films. They're both worth seeing but... For me at least, they were also both incredibly difficult to watch and made me want to curl up in a little ball and cry. If you only see one, Special is the better film but Neverwas is a lot more upbeat.

I once read about a monster called the Extracator, that lived off people's souls. Only, the thing was, the Extracator ate a person's soul in their sleep over a 16 year period. Like it would nibble off a crumb every night, until there wasn't anything left. So a person had no way to realize what was going on. They just had this vague sense that something was slowly disappearing.
