This seems like it would probably be an interesting experience to share with people. Not sure it would be that weird for me since we often ate with lights out to conserve power when spelunking. One of my coworkers went and it gave him a bit of a panic attack.

OTOH, it's ridiculously overpriced. $99/plate? C'mon. It's not like there will be anything appealing about the presentation of the food and the decor is probably non-existent and they're not even spending money on lighting. I guess only the wealthy and privileged get to experience what it's like to be blind at a restaurant. The rest of us just have to eat in the dark ourselves.

My mom always warned me not to eat in the dark.

...No, wait. She warned me not to *read* in the dark.

Which makes me wonder... how do you read the menu?

If I recall correctly, you pre-order before you enter the dining room.

I remember reading about this thing several years back. Pretty weird.
