Guess where I won't be shopping anymore?

Mind you, I didn't shop there a lot in the first place. We have lots of market choices here.

Strange coincidence: Ex-wife works at the local Whole Foods where I used to shop. In my effort to cut all ties, I started shopping at the local co-op instead. It's cost me a bit more money, but I have yet to run into crap like this. Also -- Minnesota has been linking their co-ops to form a network of co-op membership benefit sharing :)

...it just seems that corporations are impossible to operate on ethics.

I haven't been to our Ho Foods since we stopped doing their inventories. I suspect one of the reasons he's pushing this is to try to get more people to buy overpriced and often questionably useful 'supplements'. That's taking charge of your health care.

He's always been an ass. He got caught sock-puppeting to knock the price down when they bought out Wild Oats, a competitor.

But they're the only ones over here that carry a full line of several product lines we eat. And they treat their employees well. Only the CEO is an ass that can't do math.

Hm.

Chain of grocery stores which caters only to America's ruling class, and which seemingly employs only beautiful people from the appropriate classes. Run by someone basically advocating class warfare. Not a coincidence, really. They have some very wonderful stuff, but I couldn't afford any more than a few items at most there, and apparently, my inability to afford Whole Foods is more than just fiscal.

Whole Foods is the walmart of organic yuppie groceries. Their union busting tactics have been long known, I'm glad the mask finally slipped.

Whole Foods joins Domino's Pizza and Blockbuster Video in the realms of wingnut-owned corporations I'll never give a dime to again, they can fry as far as I'm concerned.
