I'm really getting tired of my current LJ icon set. I should come up with some new ones. I hate having only five, but I don't really need as many as a paid account and I'm loathe to have my private thoughts show up next to advertisements for dreary dating sites, obnoxious weight-loss ads, and hemorrhoid ointments. Perhaps I should just turn icons off and embed icon-sized images when I feel they're appropriate. Of course, that'd require changing the style and I can't easily do that either. Meh.

Whine whine whine. Okay. Back to work.

It depends on the layout you choose, unless they've changed where you can put the ads (I have mine at the top and bottom, and they're ignorable), but I understand the want to not have them! Icons are <3 though. :D
