Without a good camera and no functioning tripod to speak of, I've really fallen out of the habit of taking photos of myself. But since it's New Years and I just dyed my hair a few days ago, thought I'd do what I could. Certainly not my best photo ever but, not too bad.

Not a bad look for a free dress, is it? (I got the dress as a costume exchange last year. It had some blown seams but otherwise fit me perfectly, so I decided to take it and repair it. :)

Skirts and dresses are very comfortable. I wear them fairly often but they aren't very compatible with bicycling so mostly they end up being club and lounge wear for me or for the days when I walk to work instead of bicycling. But yes, you should try it. You'll like it. :)

There are a couple catches.

1) I'm a bit chunky-proportioned, so I have to choose carefully or they can be rather unflattering. (I'm working on this with.. well, working out.) Also, most of 'em are a bit odd 'cause the length is off. I'm a tall girl, and so stuff obviously meant to be just below the knee is above.

2) I'm still working on finding more shoes that fit 15WW feet than generic sneakers or fetishwear... because I just can't see wearing sneakers with skirts, even denim skirts. I dunno.

3) Dresses... heh. Even more of problem #1, magnified by about twenty.

These aren't insurmountable problems, but they are a little tough.
