Operational... Sorta
Nov. 30th, 2003 03:25 amBehold this fully armed and operational animation stand!!!
Well. Kinda. Okay. Not really. I'm still missing some handles and I just have a plastic pegbar taped to the composite, so I have no paper panning capability but I can X and Y pan the composite itself and rotate the composite. Oh yeah. I also have no dolly... I jammed my tripod through the clothes bar under the shelf in my closet and braced it with some plastic bottles and extended the neck so that the camera is directly above the composite. I don't need any dollies for 'Free as a Bird' though and I can do my paper pans digitally so I'm in a functional state and I can take advantage of the platten...
And the platten makes a HUGE difference in the quality of the animation. It looks TONS better. So... It's barbarically low-tech but it is actually working! Yay!
I conned my lovely spouse into working on the photography while I finish up the artwork. Hoping to have an inked rough-cut by Wednsday.
Now though, I go to bed.
