I had a nearly perfect weekend. Actually, it started off pretty bad, but I discovered that if you get the bad part out of the way early, it makes the rest that much more enjoyable. So. Even the part where I fell down a cliff face and the part where I got my car stuck in a river turned out to be a lot of fun. :)

Now I'm off to bed. Nightnight. :)

I hope neither you and your car were seriously harmed!

I'm fine. I went rock-climbing with a friend. We'd thought we'd be clever and find a way to walk back down but it turned out the top was very dense brush and we had to climb back down. One part had a pretty good drop and we were doing a drop/catch of trees and I caught a bad one about ~12feet from the bottom. I got a few scratches and an impressive bruise on my thigh but it was more entertaining than painful.

The car is also fine. It was only stuck in about six inches of water. We just had to get some help pushing it out. Someone had left a divot in the creek before us. So I filled it in and we waited for the next car to make sure they got out okay.

After extricating yourself from the muddy divot you then stuck around to do impromptu road repair. That's the extra DV_Girl touch right there.

Those are kinda impromptu roads, to begin with. A ford of a clear stream at a rocky patch. They're pretty common, and why anyone who camps bought an SUV recently.

...But it's been a long time since I lived that far away from the city.
