Pre-burn countdown

Well. Stacey has all the cloth/mylar sheets laminated for our build, so now it's just up to me to sew them all together and make them into insulation shells to fit over our camp gear.

Signpost Squid is more than halfway done. He's looking very cute. All his arms are attached and 4 of them are finished. The others are mounted and rigged and just need the skin put on them. His mantle is done save for eyes and electronics. He's gone together without a single hitch.

We came across a decent/cheap carpet for our 'living room' en la playa and picked that up so our camp should be rather posh now. Bamboo mat in the bedroom, carpet in the living room.

All the lights are ready. Fishbike and costumes are waiting in the wings but it looks like I'll have most of the weekend to work on them if things go well tonight.

Still need to work out a mount for my wind turbine, but I think it might happen.

Hey, I was going to ask, do you want to try to caravan up to BRC or anything? I tried to call you last night, but your phone went straight to voice mail. I was planning on leaving around now, but I'm not quite done with my art yet…
