Yeah, that does feel less like a "we don't have the money to run the stats" and more like a "we don't want to panic potential investors who might look at the stats." Maybe that's just my paranoia.

If you watch Fox news I'm sure it's easy enough to interpret this as an indicator that wealthy people the nation over are queezy at the prospect of a fiscally irresponsible liberal president, unlike our current commander and chief who knows that tax cuts fix everything, no matter what money you're spending on an endless war, or which infrastructure is falling apart, or who's education system needs reform.
