When Schedules Collide

Hmm. Foo.

Julia has invited me to go with her to http://www.symbiosisgathering.com/event.php She has an extra ticket and doesn't want to waste it.

The problem is that we'd be leaving tomorrow afternoon and be gone most of the weekend.

I've already got plans for Friday night and classes starting Monday and a schedule of projects I wanted to work on this weekend and my hair is getting long and the color is kinda faded... But on the other hand... Burning Man Lite. ... Foo.

I am very tempted. What's the plan for eating/sleeping arrangements? I am good at campfire cooking and have a complete set of cast iron.

Also, when would we be back? It'd probably be wrong to miss the first day of class.

There is a total fire ban for the site, but propane stoves are probably allowed. There are also food vendors there selling yummy organic vegan foods, and coffee and stuff. It's kinda expensive, but it was so good. I also brought a bunch of cliff bars and trail mix stuff left over from burning man. I think I brought a tent, but I just slept in my car, it was only two nights.

Probably get back Sunday night. That's when I returned last year.

Oh yeah. Also.. What would I DO there? :) Sit around and draw or is this a dance-nonstop kind of thing or what? :)

Oh what the hell. I'll come. I've made too many excuses about not going to stuff like this in the past.

What time do you want to meet up tomorrow?
You could pick me up at my office on the way out. It's very near the junction of 85 and 237 anyhow.

Are you going to have your camping gear with you, or do we need to swing by your apartment too. Anyway, I can pick you up. I'm not solidly certain about what time I'm going to sneak out of work, but it will still be daylight. (Sophia was saying 2PM was good for her. Angel's Camp is like a two to three hour drive from here (I think).)

I'm packing now. It's not much. I could put it on my bike and haul it to work with me or you could pick me up and we could hit my apartment or you could call me before you leave and meet at my apartment. Whichevr you prefer. :)

I don't have a strong preference. I'm mostly packing bedding, some clothes, some food, water, and camera gear, and a tent I probably won't use. And blinky flashy stuff.
