There was an explosion at Mojave Spaceport yesterday. Scaled lost 3 people and 3 more are in the hospital...

They're suspecting an NO2 explosion, which means probably just static in a tank.

The people in the building were performing a valve test, and there was no assumption of risk. This is basically the kind of explosion you could have had in a hospital, just bigger.

A similar explosion happened earlier this year, taking out a chemical plant in Kansas.
