Rather than blogging angrily about news events, I thought I'd try drawing about them instead, even if they're just sloppy 5-minute sketches.

This isn't really the supreme court ruling I cared most about this week. Truth be told I was considerably more upset that they said you can't sue the 'faith based' assistance programs if they treat you unfairly (as they do to unwed mothers, gays, people of other faiths, and so on.) So much for separation of church and state.

This one is equally insidious though. Corporations can bypass campaign contribution laws by making up their own smear ads and running them, meaning campaign contribution limitations are now really only a limitation to outsider political parties and individuals. Don't forget, someone also recently proposed a law making anything you say on a blog count as a campaign contribution.

Goal for tomorrow: Be more amusing and better drawn.

No, it really is like that, so I appreciate it.

My only complaint is that Republicans would rape kittens and offer the organs to Satan - and it'd be the Democrats' fault for making this a partisan thing. Ever notice how partisan only matters when one side does it?
