Feb. 28th, 2007 11:02 pmWoot! I found a beta-test version of WIDI's audio to MIDI converter and it seems to work.
For tonight's experiment, I tried taking audio from my keyboard rather than the MIDI and running it back through this WAV to MIDI converter thingy as a sort of distortion. Then I changed the voice and pitch and otherwise fooled around.
I made something that isn't quite music but... It's not entirely noise either.

I don't use Windows though so I don't know how well any of them work.
