The UCLA thing was hardly an abuse of power, they've been rapes on that campus and he wasnt suppose to be there without an ID, the guy was a drama queen .... However the article you've just linked does infact appear be an abuse in power or at the least a major fuckup.

Still its funny how people always link stuff like police/military abuses in power and how they *never* touch on the other things like the -non-consensual medical experiments and medical killings (http://www.ahrp.org/cms/content/view/18/87/) that go on in America or how the upper-classes keep the lower-classes trapped in poverty by restricting educational access.

Im willing to bet alot of law enforcement officers and soldiers are poor kids who couldnt afford college and were forced into the career against their will ..... I know thats why im in armed security right now and a good chunk of my friends had to join the military. Not because we wanted to but because we didnt have a real choice and were pertty much forced into it but you never hear about the wrongs done there.

Makes me question peoples motives ya'know? .... Are the guys who spam this crap really fighting for "humanity" or just dissin the police/military/whatever because they've got a personal grudge?. Of course im not saying you're doing that, but alot of the spam I see on Lj makes me wonder about some folks and I have to keep an open mind and view everything from all angles.

I'm confused, what law allows them to hit you with a few thousand volts as a request for you to leave or to hassle you for an ID?

Maybe instead of making shit up to cheer troops/cops/guards, you could do more to make sure they don't do stupid shit like that in the first place?

It was after he was asked to leave, refused to leave, and started making a scene. If the police come to escort you off a property because the owners called them and you start screaming anarchist bullshit and resisting than yeah chances are you'll get zapped or sprayed ..... Sure, I know some people have an authority problem but common sense goes a long ways.
