Posted chronologically from my sketchbook from the past month.

![]() | Some weird character I drew while drinking too much and watching bad sci-fi with a friend. Dull and generic fox. Why did I scan this? | ![]() |

![]() | I drew this at the apple store. Did I mention my MBP died and is off for repairs? Oh right, I don't want to talk about it. |

Charicatures of a friend of mine who has very poofy hair. She complained I was drawing her fingers too long in the first one, so I made her goth. :)
Sor of a weird hybrid of self-portrait and Tank Girl. Thoughts on a demoness costume for FC. Not liking it so far. Needs something. | ![]() |
![]() | ![]() Some more random crap from my sketchbook. I lke the large-breasted french woman and the gy bear boi. |
This is the drawing that was interrupted by the communist. Interestingly enough, it's of Alen the Red. Not sure what that means. | ![]() |
![]() | Something I was thumbnailing maybe for use in another piece of artwork that I'm working on in Illustrator. |
![]() | Need more practice drawing hands. The particularly astute may recognize this page as being directly from the Preston Blair book. |
![]() | After warming up on PB, I decided to try inventing some hands rather than looking at them. Since I wanted to put them in the context of an emotion, I made this stripped-down character, who is only a face and arms. Go, exercise! :) |
![]() | After PB, I moved on to The Book of a Hundred Hands and started doing 'real' hands. I think the cartoony exercises were a good help for loosening up before doing this since emotion is way more important to good hands than shape. There's several more pages of this but I thought one was enough to scan. |
