The problem with taking ANY action against these self-righteous pricks is that the christian right has managed to talk themselves into being the victimized martyrs, just like the crosses they wave into everyone's faces. It doesn't matter if they are from the upper to high level income bracket, have more perks than you can shake a stick at, and are happily let off criminal charges anytime they screw up with billions of dollars (*cough* Enron *cough*) while the poor non-white kid that just offed a convience store for $50 to feed himself gets 25+ years because its his third strike. No, none of that matters, because they are high and holy, and if you, you dirty little purple haired liberal (which has become a dirty word apparently in Bush's regime) pinkie commo lesbo (and if they only knew your truth they'd really blow a self-righteous gasket) DARE to question their own jihad (exscuse me, minister, CRUSADE, we call it something different and it becomes different right?), if you dare to question their moral authority and logic then they are the ones being persecuted!

It sickens me beyond all words how the conservatives (or whatever term you applied to the close-minded lunatics; conservative/bush-man/asshole are all synonyms) have twisted and perverted everything possible. Logic? We don't need no stinking logic, we got Jebus! Argument that makes sense?! How dare you!!! Persecution! To listen to these raving maniacs, we're one step from the lions ... and honestly, its not such a bad idea in retrospect. A little feline justice on a dozen influential figures could go a long way to restoring some kind of sanity to this country.

Good luck, sparky. I have gone beyond arguing, as I watch with sickening certainty their eager, sweaty, greedy faces look for a single word in anything I say to twist into some false martyrdom; their lives are so petty and small they cannot think beyond their own ill-concieved choices. I've met maybe 1 in 15 pro-lifers that can string a coherent sentence together without inserting Jesus into their argument (let alone those that can actually think clearly enough to soberly consider their stances on issues and perhaps, yes, perhaps change their minds if they encounter a better viewpoint). Which is morbidly entertaining, since the kinds of things the Big J would have wanted did not include the rabid hatred of your neighbor.

Guess I'm just burned out. I know that your way is ultimately better, that eventually these middle aged people might actually obtain the emotional maturity of a bright 12 year old, and stop fucking with their neighbors in falsely pious ways. Maybe its just continously meeting fresh supplies of these assholes in my standard nomadic travel system that makes me want to put the gun to my head. But frankly after the last time I was told I was going to burn in hell (here in Hawaii no less), I think I've lost the last vestiges of what passed for self-control around these self-righteous pricks. I have a sinking feeling the next time someone says that to me teeth, mine and his, are both going flying lol. Your way is better, no doubt about it; mine is so much more satisfying though :)

Sorry for the rant, I just cannot help but play out the scene of you standing in front of these idiots' places of business trying to make a point, and feel a dread sense that I've seen this scene before, and it never ends well for those who actually have justice, love, and concern on their side.
