GODDAMNIT!!!
Jan. 30th, 2006 01:41 amAUGH!!!!
*sigh*
I am reading Illusion of Life and guess what. Right in the middle, almost exactly in the middle, page 327/328 has been RIPPED OUT. It's not there. Motherfucking shit. Let me guess. It had some pretty pretty picture that someone just had to wreck a book for to put it up on their wall. Fuck. :/
I guess on the bright side, if it had to be in any section of the book, at least it's in the section on shooting live action and animating to that but it still pisses me off.
Why can't people have a little respect for old out of print books? :/

Date: 2006-01-30 08:20 pm (UTC)Though the Illusion of Life comes into reprint every few years or so. When I first got interested in animation in the early 90's, it was out of print. I bought the copy I have at a B&N a few years ago.

Right click and download, it's a 1.9MB file, 300dpi. Tough thing to scan too, so there's some color shift on the sidebar.

Date: 2006-01-30 10:39 pm (UTC)back in high school, half the books seemed to be..repositories for some pocking redneck with a mouthfull of chewing tabaco. Yay. -.- Destorys the books with staining, and most likely with acids and such that make the page go totaly fragile a few years later.
Most of the paperbacks they had only lasted about a few months till they got transplanted into hardback bindings. ;.;
course, a coulpe of times I've bought books and they've been missing pages, but um. Not big a deal, as the store will usually go and exchange with that being the case. <.< Mew. What was I talking about? O.o
