If anyone is wondering, I didn't make the deadline. Err. Well. I did, but I didn't. I successfully completed 904 (That is NINE HUNDRED AND FOUR) drawings in less than 4 days. I even managed to photograph all 904 drawings in less than 10 hours. I did not, however finish all of the editing in time. I put together a rough cut by Saturday morning so that I could review it in class but it still needs a ton of work.
Surprisingly, most of the animation is working reasonably well. There are a few parts that are a bit rough but the real problem (for a pencil test) is the lighting. 3 layers of paper gets hard to read even with strong backlighting. Gonna see what I can do to improve that but hopefully I'll have a clean pencil test hacked out by the end of the week and I can move on to finishing this project.
