Final Rendering of the Kitten animation. Since I wanted to add art archive links to my website, I also finally got around to uploading pictures and updating the animation directory, and while I was at it, I put a new article on the main page. http://circle.twu.net/ if you're interested.

I wonder what happens if you put a cut inside a table? So... These are sketches of that SnakeFly I was so intrigued with last summer. I was going to make these sketches all nice-looking in Illustrator but I got distracted fixing my site instead and now it's late and I should go to bed. But if I get some time tomorrow I'll try to do that. In the interim, critique of sketches welcomed/appreciated.

That Kitten Animation is very slick. I like the jazzy soundtrack, and the punchline. The motions and emotions are overall very well rendered and timed, though I found that her head turn to the Women's door to be a tad too slow. Good up and down motion in the body as she walks. Despite the title of the link, I didn't catch on that this was a cat until the "meow" punchline. The letter she takes down looks like a "W" -- this could be the angle or it could be her thumb, or both.
