Hee!

So... last night was fun. There's been a big meeting going on with lotsa NASA reps so they brought in a prototype model of the telescope assembly for the Gravity Probe in a glass case as a display thing. ... We needed some good photos of it for information stuff and I saw it there and asked if it would be okay if I got some time to photo it and they said sure, after hours. So... Late yesterday evening, I slipped into the dark conference room with my box of lights and camera and set up and did a bunch of glamour shots. I think I got some pretty good ones but will have to wait for the film to come back.
Anyhow, about halfway through the shoot, someone stuck his head in the door, puzzled by the lights (I was in a darker part of the room, shooting with a portrait lens at that time) So I wave to him and assure him that I'm not a spy and then jsut sort of ad-lib, "Very clever Boris! Now ve get moose und skwirl for sure!"
Hee. Okay. I'm a total nerd. Anyhow.. I can now add 'slipped into darkened room and photographed experimental government spacecraft' of the list of 'interesting' things I've done in my life. :)
