So I got to thinking... If the 'security' is that stupid, maybe it's REALLY that stupid. I tried just renaming the file from .MP3 to .WAV and it downloaded! Then I named it back and it worked fine! Mwahahaha!

Then I went hunting and found that the Nordic iRiver site had a 1.1.8 version of the Mac OS music manager (the US one is 1.1.3) So I downloaded it and the files no longer corrupt! Haha! Who cares if it's in Norweigan? It's a drag and drop interface and I can get my files. Hurrah!
