FCTV 'Archery' spot

It's that time of year again. Only got two FCTV spots this year but that's not bad for less than a week of work. Here's the first one. It's done in Maya.

So... Now here's some animation I can be proud of.

Jon and I brainstormed the idea on Saturday and worked out character design and stuff.

Jon did the rough keyframes and some of the inbetweens. Then I did the bulk of the inbetweens, cleanup, and ink and paint.

Then I slapped together the score in about 10 minutes with my keyboard and some hacking in Premiere.

30 seconds of animation in what amounts to 4 days!

Okay, ya, it's a little bumpy but it reads and it's got life and how many animated shorts can you think of that were done in less than a week? :)
