Its Flash-type birthday card for Tugrik

I blame Revar for it being a week late. Darned flippity flappity bats are hard to draw.

Anyhow, for those not familiar, check out tugrik for info on the FlareTracker project. Those mad little monkeys have built a laser! O_O

But of course! Everything is your fault! Like that bumpy transistion from the flying cycle to landing.. that's SO your fault because I changed the length of the flighting bit and forgot to adjust the start frame. You made me do that with your vampyry mind-control beams!

That's brilliant, not just beautiful art and well done and impressive and all that, but so PERFECT for him! I've said this before and I'll say it again -- I wish I could be inside your head for a day just to see how these ideas come about. I promise I wont steal them but to see the thought process would have to be a learning experience.

I think it's mostly just random. I've been on this project of transcribing my journal from 1994 to backdated LJ entries so I can look through it more easily and think about some of the things my younger self thought about and see how I've changed. Anyhow, on the day of Tug's birthday I had just transcribed the part where I met him for the first time in RL at a Thanksgiving party. 'n' of course I keep up on the FlareTracker thingy 'n' I was like. "Geez. I've never given him anything for his birthday 'n' he's sucha sweetie but I wouldn't even know what to get him." So I just started mixing ideas around and thought this one was fun.

That is too F**ing good. I love it. Especially that green light thingy they are working on incorporated into the animation.

Its so easy to blame the bat. Though I wouldn't want to be around if someone did blame the bat. Teeth are sharp. Claws are sharp. ...nevermind.
