Platypi (N. Plural): A combination of 3.14159... different types of animals.

Sometimes I'm very random. Others I think I'm just avoiding doing homework. Last night was probably the later. So sick of the bunny animation. Need to finish it but hate it so much. Difficult.

Anyhow, on AFF, someone asked for several pictures of Platypii, so I got a wild hair and whipped out several drawings to his request, using some of the things I've learned in Preston Blair's book. I think its more or less okay, but I had a hard time making the distinction between platypus and duck as a cartoon character.
This directory contains the platypus drawings. Any input would be appreciated.

To distinguish as platypus, I tried the following: No neck, elliptical body instead of egg, heavy and short arms and legs, eyes towards middle of face rather than outside edges, and the conical tail.

In retrospect, I probably should have looked for some more images of platypii. My only reference was Jack Hamm's 'How to Draw Animals' and the platypus is probably one of the worst drawn characters in the whole book.

kawaii!
