Starski and Hutch
Mar. 13th, 2004 01:06 pmSoooo.... We were gonna watch Hidalgo but we got there at the wrong time and I didn't want to wait for an hour and then sit through an hour of commercials and promos as well and THEN watch the movie, so instead we went to 'Starski and Hutch'... Which turned out to be.... FREAKIN AWSOME!!!! It was totally fun and Snoop Dawg as Huggy Bear was just tha best! (Man does that guy have a weird shaped head)
Now I wanna watch Ralph Bakshi cartoons and draw fros and bells! Ohmygawd were the real yuppies freaky-scarry though! I only hazily recall them from my childhood but wow did that bring back memories! Man... We need the 70's back. Republicans were way more tolerable when they just wore Jerri curls and plaid pastel polyester leisure suits!
I'd say my favourite thing about the movie was that they didn't use ANY modern remixes of music. It was all real solid gold seventies sound.
Anyhow. Fun film. Favourite bits were the dragon guy and the phrase, 'Son of a bitch'. (Without spoiling anything)
