Things coming together
Apr. 16th, 2010 06:04 pmWell. So far I'm staying on track for my goals for the year. I've been doing yoga in the mornings. I went to look for a yoga class and found one was starting the next day (I thought) Turned out I was off by a week. Started yesterday instead of last Thursday. I wasn't going to go due to vet bills but on Wednesday I was informed I was getting a small bonus at work today, so I went ahead and went.
I just started practicing juggling clubs on Monday as that's one of my other goals for this year. Oddly enough, on Tuesday, one of my co-workers mentioned to the mountain view office group that he had brought in some juggling clubs and was willing to teach people who were interested or who wanted to practice together. Today we practiced doing passes (with beanbags) and he gave me some tips for clubs. I completed one pass. Woot! And I have some ideas how to practice so that next week I'll do better.
I've also been doing a lot of meditation and... a friend of mine is now teaching classes at the Zen meditation center in, so I'm going to go to one of her sessions next week.
I'm starting to feel more like 'me' again than I have in a while. It's kind of nice.
Now I need to run off to school.
