Feb. 10th, 2010 10:56 amWill be at Atlantis Comics in Santa Cruz on Saturday.
I can't go, of course. I'll be moving. *sigh* Anyone want to help us move and haul heavy stuff up nearly three stories of uneven rock stairs? It'll probably be raining too! How can you not define this as 'fun'?
In other news, engineer Croft spent a good chunk of her evening tinkering with the boiler to no avail. We still don't have hot water. Though we did manage to haul almost 200lbs of stuff up the side of the hill in a cart using a system of ropes and pulleys so we can probably take the washing machine up ourselves.
Also (because I was looking for the weights of the things we hauled up in the load) I poked at Costco.com and was amused to notice a funeral section. You could be buried in a Costco Casket for burned and put in a Costco Urn (Cheaper in the convenient 5-pack)
