... This is going to take some getting used to. I have joined the rest of the wankers and got a web capable phone. So now I am posting to LJ from a phone while waiting for Stacey at the hardware store.

We have been working on the house since last night. Stacey put. In a garbage disposal and is nearly done installing the dishwasher. I have been working on cutting a hole in a perfectly good wall to put in the exhaust for an above the range microwave. This would not normally be a huge challenge but the wall the is a half inch of granite, drywall, and then a half. Inch of wood panelling (and that is just the inside. O_o.

I also spent a fair chunk of time on the roof today cleaning out gutters, sweeping, and removing moss. I don't think anyone had done that in years. Tons of work left to do. Most of the terror has worn off though. :)

Verizon Family Plan. 1K minutes/month, 500 text msgs/month, and 60 MB of internet/month = $120/month = $1440/year.

If I wanted to break it out into separate talk/text & data plans, Talk/text = $150/month, unlimited data for both lines = $60/month. Total: $2520/year.

That's before all the taxes and surcharges.

The Sprint Everything Data Family plan offers 2 lines, 1500 shared minutes, free calling to any mobile phone regardless of carrier, unlimited text, data and Direct Connect, GPS navigation, TV and Blackberry services for $130 a month (before taxes and fees).

That's comparable to the Verizon plan. I'm never going to use 1000 minutes or 500 text messages in a month, so they might as well be unlimited. Not interested in Direct Connect, GPS navigation, TV or Blackberry services.
