WIP update

Took a couple hours of break time in the middle of the night to chat and look at other peoples art for a bit but mostly worked through. Lots left to do but the remaining amount is pretty manageable. Barring some unforeseen even, I should finish by FC.

Here's where I've stopped at for the night.

Throw some rim lighting onto the purple cat; she's vanishing against the similarly-hued-and-valued BG.

Yeah, I really haven't done anything with her, the goat, or the wolf-thing yet. Working back to front.
I'm going to do a little back lighting but probably also heavy cartoon type outlines.

My biggest problem really is that there isn't a fluorescent white. So many clothes just light up because they're cotton and I don't have anything that makes that color. really slowing me down a bit on some of my choices and going to be a royal pain when it comes to doing more shines and glows. *sigh*

Hmm. Maybe pearlescent media would work. Or for that matter perhaps I can find something that I can make into powder and mix into medium that will do what I want. Hmm. Time for some experimenting I think.
