Wow. Yet another reason to NOT vote republican.

http://www.georgehutchins.com/

To steal a quote from someone else:
It's really hard to say what's more offensive: the racism, the stupidity, or the complete lack of design sense.

Seriously. You'd think even the staunchest Republican would cringe at the thought of this guy's lawn if he lived next door to them.

It's like a third grader tried to make a political candidate.

Or perhaps a whole party of 3rd graders... http://nimcrown.us/

That's... colorful. Like having some weirdly reactionary acid trip. People actually navigate these sites?

Also, I feel deeply ashamed and more than a little paranoid that I share a country/species/planet with these deranged nutjobs.

George Hutchins has travelled THROUGH the timecube.

Three time dimensions, not one!

This absolutely has to be parody. I can't believe that anyone would actually... produce this. It's completely unreadable. Is he trying to go for the trashy supermarket tabloid look? Or is that the kidnapper ransom note style? I really can't tell? Perhaps it's a unique blending of both, with a personal touch to make it..

This is pitch perfect authentic IMHO. Its either master satire, or the real thing. Classic internet kook hallmarks all the way.

He really had me. Yehaw, he was in the army *and* the marines. Unlikely, but wow. His anti-diversity platform really appeals to me... but then I got to the bottom of the page where he's photographed in front of Windsor castle... frankly I didn't care for that Lady Diana. She was a closet commie, and England is just un-American. What's he doin' over there? We didn't invade there ever, did we? It doesn't look like he's in uniform.

He realized the Army is weak so he joined the Marines to become a real man?

Jesus god. A WYSIWYG is supposed to prevent atrocities like this... but he wanted it this way. Dang.

This is Microsoft's preferred format I would guess.

At least, having looked at their UI and chunks of their source code, I believe this to be the MicroSoft standard.

Oh snap, I just knocked on my ass, totally left myself open for Mac trash talking, how didn't I see it coming? Bottom feeders like me gotta take what we can get I guess, even if it's an operating system hosted on geocities or xfire in 1996. Oh well back to playing spectacular video games with budgets larger than summer movies with effects almost as real, rendered in real time. Strange that such a spectacle would be available on windows platforms and not an obscure proprietary system 80% of who's market share resides in northern California.

Heh. Forgot my icon previously.

A WYSIWYG is supposed to prevent atrocities like this

Counterpoints: Geocities, Geocities 2.0MySpace.

A common claim leveled against WYSIWYG (This was used a lot when desktop publishing got a major boost in the 80s) is that, by lowering the barrier to entry, it lets those less skilled in. And you see more of, well, that.

Interesting data point: The colors are eye searing, and often what you'd find on posters on lawns for the eye-grabbing properties.

Wow, 256 colour jpegs, how I've missed you..

Don't you see? Geocities died under Obama! He's GOT to fight to preserve it's memory!

I like to think that it's rather aesthetic now that all the dumpy Republican men have been sucked into pixelly vortices. Out of curiosity, can you make out the somewhat eye-melting hermaphrodite pr0n that I overlaid into the image?

And here I thought it was an B-movie alien. (Gah. I can't find the one I'm thinking of)
