While I'm finding that I'm really enjoying working large scale with the airbrush, I'm also feeling a bit overwhelmed.

The forest panel is a bit more complicated than the ocean panel. I've spent the last two evenings working on it and I'm skeptical I'll get done tonight.

It's looking pretty decent so far though.

And on the political front, let's give a round of applause to former president George W Bush and his amazing accomplishments in office! Like... It's like teaching proper firearms handling by telling people that gun use is strictly forbidden, and then explaning gun ownership as a pervasive ideology in our society as the reason for why people don't put the safety on.

Bet they'd really squirm at that analogy, too.

I was sort of wishing he was around when I was working on the stream and the bark on some of the trees. Of course, I suspect he'd use the palette knife for both and I couldn't really do that with the airbrush.

He'd probably have liked my ferns... If they weren't painted with a transparent paint that just bled like crazy. I'm going to have quite a rough time fixing them. *sigh*

Also, do you know, I didn't need the CDC report, because MTV has two reality shows. "16 and Pregnant", and "I didn't know I was pregnant." My sister loves them. I avoid them so I don't have to engage in the inherently conservative activity of meditating on the decline of society.
