If you haven't seen Machine Girl yet, you should.

I think someone was playing Far East of Eden a few too many times.

See, this is by the same people that did Machine Girl....which was nowhere near as good as I thought it would be. It was ok, but, the corny violence wasn't as funny as it seemed in the trailers.

I would instead suggest Saibogujiman kwenchana (I'm A Cyborg But That's Ok). It is superior in several regards. First of all it's Korean, not Japanese, so the female actors are allowed to use their actual voices instead of shrill chipmunk screeches. Second, it stars Rain, the east Asian sex god. Pop star. Why, what did I write before that, pop star, right?

Oh gawd I hate that about some animes... what's up with that anyway. I guess it is to portray youth and cuteness but it really gets on my nerves at times.

Anime fans are always complaining about how the 'dubbed' version of an anime sucks and how they prefer the original voices and subtitles however there are plenty of times I prefer dubbed simply because it avoids the squeaky chipmunk voices. Also, if you're not staring at the screen constantly and are trying to get something else done you can actually look away for a bit and still understand what's going on.
