I like how the kid just gets up and goes RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR for no reason.
That other video has some interesting and scary statistics. I have to wonder if technology could stagnate because in order to learn the existing technology you'd need to focus your entire lifetime to it and you simply couldn't use the interdisciplinary knowledge that's required for innovation.
I graduated almost 17 years ago to this day, and everything I knew is thus about 17 years or more out-of-date. This is part of why I don't work in high-tech anymore. It's a neat hobby, but it's nearly impossible to make a living at something that evolves faster than you can keep up with it. Unless you're one of the lucky ones who gets sent on constant upgrading courses at the company's expense. :P Even there, I don't think I could handle the stress. I'm glad that there are people who can, and all the more power to them, because I sure couldn't do it.
I feel sorry for the kid. Coming out of the anesthetic haze is bad enough when you're an adult and have some idea as to what's going on, must have been even trippier for a kid... :/
