Sam Antha: Private Director
Dec. 12th, 2002 01:19 amYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!! I was _FINALLY_ able to see the movie I spent so much time
working on in it's entirity and there's a good chance my instructor will get to see it before giving my final grade.
I can see now that there are some flaws in the editing, it's not perfect and there are several little things with timing and audio I will clean up, but still. For a student film, I think it's pretty good!
If you wanna watch the film, it's at http://circle.twu.net/video/sam_web.avi It's like 16M though, so only watch if you have the bandwidth and nothing better to do cause it is still a first-year student film made in a relatively short amount of time.
In that same directory, there's some production shots. One for each of the characters in the movie (All played by me) SamAntha.jpg (The detective) AnnActress.jpg (The Female lead), and MrActress.jpg (Ann's late husband)
I'll go into more detail about how I made the movie later because it was fun and I think a story I'd like to perserve. Anyhow, I should get my little butt to bed!

Date: 2002-12-12 02:38 am (UTC)I poked around the site and looked at the stuff -- and I knew that there was a lot of work involved, but didnt know the details, that was so cool.
Definately a clever script, too. I was honestly rivetted, I was supposed to wake Dan up a few minutes earlier but didn't want to stop. Tough. He should wake himself up anyways. :)

Date: 2002-12-12 09:39 am (UTC)It was still a bit rough in places, there's a few things I could do to improve the timing, but on the whole, I was really happy with it 'n' I'm glad someone got to see it! I also just got e-mail from my instructor and can take him a copy at 12:30 today!!! :) So life is back to good!
