Extra-cheap solar oven: One cardboard box. Paint the outside black. Line with aluminum foil, and set with open side up. Place clear acrylic or Plexiglass sheet on top. Don't forget an oven thermometer!
One minor problem is that if it gets *too* hot, the cardboard will start to burn (451F, yay books). But turning the acrylic so the air can vent fixes that.
