Pirate Radio and the Rolling Rave

Heh. So... Tomorrow I'm setting out on a trip to Portland and I was just thinking about how we're going to handle music on the trip.

It seems like there are two ways we could do it. One would be to burn stuff to CD and listen to it like normal people.

The other? We have a mini FM transmitter that I can plug into my computer. Has a range of about 100 feet tops, but it'd be more than enough to get to the car stereo.

I could run a moving pirate station and set up playlists and stuff.

Heck. Why stop there tho? I have fiber optics and flashing LEDs and glow in the dark stars and some UV LEDs. Why don't I just turn the back seat into a tiny rave? :)

Too bad I don't have time to track down an LED bar and write some software for it. I could see that in the back window. "Tune to XX.X for the rolling rave!"

Hmm... I sense a plan for the trip to Burning Man. >:D

Because of probable cause?

I like a woman whose answer to "we could keep this simple" is "naaaaahhhhhh".

Rad hot dear. Rad hot.

I could grab a batch of my own CDs but I'm not sure what your tastes might run to.

I <3 prog rock. Could definitely deal with some Floyd. I've been thinking about buying some.

Bring stuff. Part of the fun of road trips is experiencing music, neh?

If you happen to pass by Eugene on the way back, slow for a moment and wave in my direction? :)
