dv_girl: *nod* I ended up reading a book instead of sewing. Only just finished. I think I would have enjoyed it quite well if I were 14. As is, I feel kind of like, "Well. That was mildly entertaining fluff but I probably would have been fine seeing the movie version of it and never having read the book."

Good Omens Regrettably, finishing a book of Vonnegut and cleaning out the car coincided.
The most interesting thing about the experience was finding the odd debris jammed between the pages from it having spent years in the trunk of my car.

dv_girl: There were several leaves, a couple of receipts and one particularly worrisome bit of black something or other that seemed to stain everything it touched.

Certainly, the name recognition of the writers, now, is much higher than it was when it was written.
