Story Submissions

Woo... I submitted two stories today. Scary scary. Of course, only one was mine but honestly, I think it's a lot more unnerving to submit for someone else because you become painfully aware that any ignorance or poor grammar you express in the cover letter reflects on them. Other than that, totally different genres and destinations, so there's no weird competition. Still. Big step for me. It's way easier to sit back and complain about not being famous than to actually try to take steps to remedy that.

Submissions, it turns out, are a surprising amount of hassle. One which involves spreadsheets and other unpleasant things. I'm now running OpenOffice on the Mac. Whee!

Anyhow. Lots to do and little time to do it. Night.
