I haven't posted any new art in a while. Got busy at work again plus I've had an unusually busy social life lately and I took some time out for some housekeeping.

I guess there's a fair bit of variation in my palette but I felt like I'd been doing a lot of orange/blue and red/green complimentary contrasts lately and I wanted to try doing something that wasn't just simple complimentaries. I also don't really do a lot of high-contrast work, or rather I do it by hues rather than values so I thought it would be good to play with doing something with deep shadows and harsher lighting.

I'm not sure how you'd play Sudoku on a chess board anyhow. :)

I don't like Kakuro! It's just Cross Sums with a Japanese name.

(Granted, Sudoku is just Number Place with a Japanese name... Y'know what I really want? A book of Nurikabe puzzles. I love Nurikabe! Where are the Nurikabe books?!)
