pasitheaI'm of the opinion that in general, people will treat their pets better than strangers, so when I saw this article, I thought I'd make a comment on it: http://time-blog.com/swampland/2007/06/romneys_shaggy_dog_story.html
Ah republicans. Coming to an obvious solution to a problem they created an then bragging about it.
Edit: Would this be more, less, or equally amusing if the caption said 'Reagan Home' instead of 'Retirement Home'?
It would kind of play with Romney' whole "I'm an outsider" thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pVqZzHm3Z4
and there'd be some poetic justice in the idea that in the end, Reagan might have finally got what he gave to others, not to mention remind people that saint Ron was a drooling idiot who shat himself before he had altzheimers. Romney is definitely trying to look like him too.
OTOH, maybe it's better as a generic person so people see their grandpa.
