1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his
tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
All in all, not a bad guy. He paid attention when Jesus was speaking, I think.
Moving on to Peter. Is this the first Pope?
Peter is sort of like Paul lite. Not as bad as Paul and a heck of a lot less wordy. Clearly though, he wants to be a Paulian.
3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even
as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto
him hath written unto you
I don't know, but I can guess. Paul was the guy bankrolling the early christian church, wasn't he?
