Next time I do Clinic Defense, remind me to print these up on a card and hand them out to the anit-choice whackos.

6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are:
for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of
the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They
have their reward.

6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou
hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy
Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for
they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Maybe I should have a pile for gay events too.

I'll go halvsies on a stack!

You are having WAAAY too much fun deconstructing the bible. I admire that. I think it would be interesting if you did re-write "the code" to read logically. My goodness woman, I just love reading what you find.

Don't forget the automobiles!

Don't forget to take a batch to work and put them under the wiper of any cars that have any sort of christian stickers on them. Leaving them on the desks of those people who have all that christian inspirational and crossy stuff works too.

It was that passage that lead me to abandon my plans to attend seminary and what eventually lead me to stop attending church.

I love quoting that bit at school prayer advocates. It takes the wind right out of their sails and leaves them sputtering.

Or I ask them "So can T. lead the class in bowing to Mecca or can my Obi teach them the Homeric Hymn to Athena?"

They get really bent into knots when you remind them not all the kids are Christian.
