pasitheaYay! For the first time in a couple weeks, I'm feeling powered up and motivated to get some stuff done this evening!
Funny the things that energize me. This time it was hearing the disapproval of the Further Confusion DVD. I didn't work on it but apparently a lot of people didn't like it and complained quite a bit about the content choice and editing.
I had been disappointed to hear that they used hardly any of my FCTV stuff on the DVD but ohwell. That's how things are sometimes, neh. Anyhow. The complaints about editing are all things that I know exactly how I'd have handled them and things that I know I could almost certainly have pulled off more smoothly. So... I have almost 3 hours of Roonness that is sitting at my desk waiting to be edited! To prove to myself I can take several hours of stage stuff and turn it into a smaller quantity of video stuff that people will wanna see, I'm finally totally motivated to editing all this video of Roon and putting together his reel. Yay! Varooom!
I think if I do good on this, I'll see about joining the DVD production staff for next year. :)
