Comic Life
So, I think maybe next weekend I'm going to try doing the 24hr comic. I might try to con Jon to come over and do one too. Start Saturday morning, finish Sunday.
Much of what inspired this goal is reading all these old Heavy Metal magazins but another part is a nifty little 'freebie' that came on my new Mac 'Comic Life'.
Just for grins I put this together in a few minutes. (The first two word bubbles are Ashy's fine writing) and Babyfur Bluto is Peggy's work.
The images are auto-clipped at the edges of the panes, the panes can be any shape and as many or few as you want and overlap or not. This was one of the template pane layouts. There are dozens. The BLAT and POOT are similarly text styles that come with the app which you can pick quickly and then stretch, curve, and rotate to your needs/desires.
I was turned onto this program at work. One of my coworkers decided to do a report in it, just for fun. Nifty little program. Especially for a freebie. I also feel like I've only played with about 1/10th of its features.
This has great potential for inflicting a great deal of badness on the internet. For that, I <3 the creators of this evil software. :)
