The novelty of being blind wore off. I did some bending and some wrapping with twist tie wires. As long as I'm really careful and don't move my head too much, I can now get a mostly undistorted view of the world though it's bigger at the bottom than at the top and makes stairs seem nightmarish.

Andy and I both managed to fuck up out glasses over Christmas, and both of us managed to find frames that fit the lenses (more or less) at a helpful shop. The lenses are okay, right?

The lenses haven't been okay for a decade. I've just been tolerating them. New glasses aer something I've been wanting anyhow. Makes a good excuse.
